:bulletgreed: Hurricane Huntress obediently trotted around the round pen, seemingly unaffected by the blinding desert heat or the light haze of dust that seemed to just sit over the horizon. Rhiannon wiped her brow where the sweat was ready to drip from her short purple-red hair.

Huntress had been broken to saddle at four, but no serious training had been undertaken since the filly primarily performed in halter. But Mandy's visions for the filly were growing.

Despite having inherited her father's flighty, nervous nature, she had quickly formed into a soft, supple, and compliant mare under Mandy's careful handling. Rhiannon would have rather'd being in the saddle and teaching the mare to slow down, drop her pole and steady her trot. But Mandy was adament that everything with a horse should be built from the ground up.

So every day until Mandy was satisifed the mare understood what was required of her under saddle Rhiannon was to lunge her this way for 45 minutes a day, five days a week.
